I had a recent stay at Talbot in Clonmel and appreciated the spacious double room with a stunning view of the Knockmealdown Mountains. The bed felt incredibly comfortable, and the shower was truly excellent. the heat in the room made it uncomfortable, especially at night. I had difficulty keeping the window open since it lacked a screen, and that limited airflow didn't help. Housekeeping did a fantastic job, providing fresh towels and daily cleaning, but I did notice some bathroom tiles were loose. While breakfast was excellently prepared, there was some initial confusion about the serving times that created unnecessary stress. The front desk staff were very accommodating in resolving this, but the breakfast area was quite busy on the bank holiday. I also had a minor issue with noisy neighbors that made it tough to sleep one night. Despite these challenges, the location of the hotel was perfect for our travels, and the staff’s efforts made the stay memorable.
